They want to protect our bountiful rivers, forests, grasslands, wetlands, and majestic national parks. But corporate capture of the federal agencies established to safeguard our public health and natural resources has rendered their pronouncements suspect and our safety at risk. The entrenched power of Big Ag must be dislodged to allow more creative food production processes to emerge. Pesticides and industrial pollution have to be strictly controlled, but most importantly, our regulatory agencies have to be returned to public servants and taken away from corporate lackeys.
